Dr. Albritton has practiced psychology in Texas since 1986 and is board-certified in forensic psychology by The American Board of Professional Psychology. The majority of his practice entails forensic psychology focused on family law, civil litigation, and criminal matters. His extensive background in child and adolescent treatment and evaluations uniquely qualifies him to provide services for families in crisis, as well as consult and testify in court related matters. His training and experience encompass a wide variety of clinical settings, including: inpatient evaluation and treatment; substance abuse treatment; child treatment; parenting issues; sexual abuse treatment; and ongoing outpatient psychotherapy. Dr. Albritton is frequently appointed by courts throughout the State of Texas to perform custody evaluations, parent facilitation, psychological evaluations, and counseling related to family law. He frequently functions as an expert witness in forensic matters, including custody and personal injury cases. Dr. Albritton often speaks regarding forensic psychology and family law matters at various conferences. He is on the faculty of the South Texas College of Law, Family Law Trial Institute. Dr. Albritton’s clinical practice includes individual, marital, and family psychotherapy. He sees children, adolescents, and adults in his clinical practice.
