Stephanie Swales, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst in private practice and an Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Dallas where she teaches at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Dr. Swales provides psychotherapy to individuals (adults and children ages 12 and older) and couples as well as supervision to other clinicians. She has published two books and numerous articles and chapters in the field of psychology. She serves on the executive council for the Dallas Society for Psychoanalytic Psychology (President, 2018-2019; President-Elect, 2017-2018; Secretary, 2015-2017). In addition, Dr. Swales regularly gives presentations at professional conferences.
